Leaving us
Notice
If you wish to terminate your employment with PCH then you will be required to give the organisation the period of notice set out in your contract. This should be in writing addressed to your line manager.
All resignations are acknowledged in writing and will invite you to complete an online exit interview.
What did you think of us?
The online exit interview, will give you an opportunity to have your say about your experience of working for us. This really is a chance for you to discuss your views and opinions of PCH and therefore contribute to the organisation’s overall improvement. You are encouraged to be honest so that we may genuinely learn from this.
Our property
On or around your last day with us you will be required to return all PCH property which is in your possession or for which you have had responsibility. Failure to return such items may result in the cost of the items being deducted from your final salary payment.
Final Payments and References
When you leave us, your final month’s pay will be made to you by BACS. This will be adjusted to take account of annual leave entitlement and employer pension contributions. Any sums due to PCH will be recovered. Your line manager will link in with Payroll on your behalf and keep you advised if appropriate.
PCH provide factual references to prospective employers whom you should ask to contact the HR Recruitment Team in writing.
Finally
We consider ourselves to be a good employer and one where people choose to come and work for the future of our communities. We also recognise that from time to time people make decisions to change direction either voluntarily or because of changes in their lives or circumstances. Whilst we will always be disappointed to see colleagues leave us we always wish them well and trust that they will have valued the experience of working with us and that it will benefit them in their new roles and the future ahead of them.
